Job Description

Lime is a smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including Lime-E e-assist bicycles and Lime-S electric scooters. Lime aims to revolutionize mobility in cities and campuses by empowering residents with cleaner, more efficient, and affordable transportation options that improve urban sustainability. 
Based out of the regional office in Penang, we are looking for an AP Senior Accountant to be responsible for the full Accounts Payable process across the various regions. Reporting to our AP Manager, you will be given the opportunity to support the development and growth of Lime across regions.
As we are growing extremely fast, we’re looking for a self-starter who is autonomous, hard-working and structured with excellent attention to detail. Flexibility is an important trait. You are comfortable with the unknown and ready to roll up your sleeves to see ideas, projects, and new initiatives through to the end.

What You'll Do

  • Responsible for accurate, timely and complete processing of all AP transactions and coding to General Ledger
  • Prepare weekly payment to external vendors and employees 
  • Verify and approve new vendor creation
  • Prepare weekly cash flow
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of AP and Purchasing month-end closing process
  • Prepare, review and analyze select general ledger account reconciliations, journal entries and accruals
  • Prepare, verify and approve monthly JE’s for corporate credit cards
  • Maintain effective relationships with business partners/vendors through timely and accurate payment and response to inquiries
  • Provide payables KPI’s and other metrics for measuring efficiencies to senior management
  • Responsible for the preparation of AP reporting requirements
  • Maintains policies and procedures for corporate credit cards and addresses escalated issues
  • Develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures
  • Identify process improvements and new approaches to processes
  • Lead or participate in special projects to enhance AP & Purchasing technology or to resolve issues raised by other departments

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with progressing scope and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in MS application as well as Google suite
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Good time management skills along with the ability to remain organized under periods of reporting pressure
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Ability to grasp accounting and finance concepts quickly
  • Energetic team player with the ability to build good working relationships
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve
  • Self-started and able to work independently with minimal supervision
