Job Description

About Wunder

Wunder is building a Modern Energy Company.

We were founded with one simple vision: to address the greatest crisis of our generation by accelerating the deployment of solar energy. In doing so, we help businesses, municipalities, and schools save money by delivering clean on-site power. We convert simple warehouses into electrified industrial platforms built for the future. We enable the nation’s leading commercial and industrial real estate firms to capture the benefits of solar across their properties. We align ESG goals with revenue targets, and the renewable energy assets we’re deploying today will power America’s tomorrow.

Wunder currently holds more than $1 billion in solar assets under management and capital commitments. Our team has evaluated more than 10,000 properties for solar across all 50 states. Our average solar system - about 480 kilowatts in size - can offset 350,000 pounds of coal burned each year of system operation!

The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an energetic, experienced full-cycle recruiter to join our fast-growing team! Wunder is growing exponentially and our growth is heavily dependent on the success of our recruiting team, so we need your help! This position, broadly speaking, will play a key role in scaling our rapidly growing organization, and the successful candidate for this role is excited to go the extra mile to hire top talent as quickly and effectively as possible.

Specifically, you will autonomously own your own req load across multiple functions and levels. You will lead and execute effective hiring processes, build relationships with hiring managers and candidates alike, and drive creative recruitment strategies forward. This includes, but is not limited to, partnering with hiring managers to identify needs, creatively sourcing active and passive candidates, building relationships with diverse communities, conducting interviews,  implementing iterations to existing processes, and guiding talent through the candidate journey.

If you get excited about scaling a fast-paced organization, finding amazing talent to join an amazing team, providing a top-notch candidate experience, and building an organization aimed at saving the world, then this is the role for you.

About You

  • High-Growth Full-Cycle Recruiting Experience - You have 6+ years of in-house, full-cycle recruiting experience at high-growth technology companies in competitive markets. You have proven success working among a wide variety of roles in a fast-paced environment, and you’re energized by managing all aspects of the interview process from sourcing through closing. You know that the two most important aspects of closing top talent are speed and the candidate experience, and you take great pride in both.

  • You’re Endlessly Curious & A Quick Learner - In short, you download information like a sponge. You are able to quickly understand the nuances of business models, industries and role requirements. You are an excellent question asker, take action to deeply understand the roles you’re working on filling, and handle ambiguity well. You’re energized by digging deep into the details of the industry, business and roles and are able to synthesize information quickly and succinctly. Someone can tell you something once and you’ll remember it until the end of time.

  • Excellent Relationship Building & Communication Skills - You have excellent people skills and you thrive on building and maintaining relationships with hiring managers, teams, candidates and your network. You excel in articulating role and company selling points, and you’re able to effectively negotiate with and close candidates with ease.  As the first point of contact and candidate liaison throughout the entire hiring process, you represent the Wunder brand and hold yourself to high standards to get the job done.

  • You’re Self-Driven & Exceptionally Detail Oriented - You thrive on managing multiple open jobs simultaneously. You autonomously manage your own processes, priorities and time efficiently. You're obsessed with dotting your i’s and crossing your t’s, hold yourself to extremely high standards, and take initiative to ensure those you’re working with do the same.

  • You’re a Process Innovator - You understand that efficient processes are paramount, accuracy and timeliness are required, and the devil is in the detail. You’re willing and ready to pivot when needed and thrive on testing something out to see if it works. You understand key recruiting metrics and use them regularly in your day-to-day and are capable of describing them to hiring managers and team members who don’t normally live inside of those details.

  • A No-Task-Is-Too-Small Attitude - You’re willing to get your hands dirty on all aspects of recruiting, whether that’s answering candidate questions, leading trainings for the team, coaching hiring managers on objective decision making, or scheduling (or rescheduling)  interviews.
