Creative Director (m/w/d) - Climate Action

What you will do
ClimatePartner is a leading enabler for corporate climate action. With your support, we will bring our visual brand communication to a new level. 

• You develop, implement, maintain and innovate the visual brand identity across various ClimatePartner touchpoints and derive style guides to enable internal and external stakeholders to live up to our brand 
• You ensure the brand consistency across all clients (B2B) as well as consumer (B2C) touchpoints 
• You take special care of the further development for our market leading label Carbon neutral 
• You take ownership and responsibility with your team for ‘creative output’ for Marketing and other cross-functional stakeholders and functions  
• You lead and mentor a team of creatives to develop and execute outstanding concepts and solutions (e.g. creative assets, templates, campaigns) 
• You take ownership for the implementation of the CI/CD throughout the organization, together with our brand management 
• You actively shape the brand marketing and internal (/agency) briefings, challenge existing or provide alternate recommendations based on our brand design and communication strategy 
• You acquire and share deep market and user insights on current design trends, making this knowledge accessible to others in the company 
• You love to collaborate and foster strong relationships across brand, marketing, communications, sales, product and in particular with our UI/UX design team, generally throughout the company to ensure a coherent brand experience across the business and its various audiences 
• At the start, you will lead a team of two designers and coordinate the work of two freelancers. 

Who you are

• You have 8+ years of experience working in a creative role for brand management preferably for blue chips or agile tech companies in agencies and/or on the company side (experience in the sustainability area and/or in B2B are a plus)  
• You have 3+ years of experience, leading, inspiring, and mentoring creative / design teams 
• You are a winning personality with inspiring leadership style: you are enthusiastic, encouraging, and able to offer guidance and mentorship to the people around you 
• You have a profound knowledge in building and evolving dynamic visual brand identities based on business requirements  
• You are a strategic thinker with an empathetic hands-on, get things done mentality; strong storytelling and presentation skills (graphic design and art direction) 
• Ability to share a portfolio that showcases references in brand design and creative direction 
• Track record of developing and implementing winning brand playbooks and campaigns 
• You are a culture-keeper: You believe that a strong team is fueled by a positive culture of respect
• You will report in this role to the Chief Marketing Officer
