Policy and Partnerships Associate

Running Tide is an ocean technology company built to tackle humanity's most urgent challenge: climate change. We build cutting-edge solutions that integrate engineered and biological systems to remove CO2 from the atmosphere, restore ecosystems, and secure food systems. Our multidisciplinary team of world-class scientists, engineers, and maritime operators is working as fast as possible while the world is burning.
We’re looking for an Associate to support myriad initiatives within our Policy and Partnerships teams. These include engaging with federal, state, and international policy makers, participating in nascent discussions on CDR regulation, and developing partnerships with the scientific community. Success in this role depends on a willingness to work hard, a hunger to learn, and a driving passion for Running Tide's mission.

You Will:

• Broadly support principles on the policy and partnerships team
• Perform policy and industry research
• Produce collateral to support discussions
• Keep notes in meetings, writing memos to build alignment and focus across the team
• Assist with scheduling for the team and across the organization
• Contribute your perspective on priorities and initiatives to accomplish team goals

You Are (or You Have):

• 3+ years of professional experience
• Unwavering commitment to excellence in everything you do
• A reliable and clear communicator
• Persistent optimism and a creative approach to problem solving
• A desire to learn and grow as a professional through constructive criticism of your work and direction from team principles
• A passion for making a significant contribution to the fight against climate change and the value of commercial operations in support of this mission

Bonus Points:

• You have worked in green tech, clean energy, or the public sector
