Job Description

EnergyHub empowers utilities and their customers to create a clean, distributed energy future. We accomplish this through innovative software and program management solutions that harness millions of distributed energy resources, enabling utilities to support more renewables and rely less on fossil energy.

The Brand Marketing Intern will join EnergyHub for a 10 week internship where they will support campaigns across owned, earned, and paid marketing channels. From cross-functional project management, to content development, to data-driven decision making, the role will provide exposure to all elements of the marketing function as well as visibility into other departments within EnergyHub.

Compensation is $24/hour. If the candidate selected is available beyond an initial 10 weeks commitment, a contract extension may be arranged.

Responsibilities:

  • Content development: Support development of website, email, and social copy and visual assets.
  • Website audit: Audit existing web pages and ensure content aligned with current messaging and SEO best practices implemented.
  • CRM management: Contribute to inbound marketing strategy through audit of HubSpot forms, integration with Salesforce, and periodic reporting on performance.
  • Events: Provide logistical coordination for in-person events, conferences, and HubSummit, EnergyHub’s annual user conference.
  • Social media management: Develop social media content calendar for LinkedIn and Twitter, lead posting and community management efforts.

Candidate Skills / Qualifications:

  • Self motivated with a strong desire to learn
  • Excellent written and verbal communicator
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with event production
  • Experience developing content for digital platforms (website, email, social) preferred
  • Solid knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn and Twitter)
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, Wordpress, and Salesforce a plus but not required
