A dynamic process manager to drive the development and sustainment of aerospace programmatic processes and execution best practices. In this role, you will be responsible for building and growing a team focused on improving program level planning and execution using metrics to make data driven decisions

Responsibilities

  • Functionally Manage and support a new program operations and processes team that includes planning, intellectual property (IP) coordination, metrics development, risk management, and agile transformation
  • Develop and execute a program operations and process roadmap that aligns with the program management office (PMO), program and company goals
  • Facilitate programmatic process development, roll out, sustainment, and continuous improvement to optimize program planning, execution, and reporting in support of the growing demands of an aircraft development program
  • Functionally manage and support the team responsible for driving the program schedule, cost, resources, and cross-functional coordination at the company level for program integration between design, software and hardware engineering, manufacturing, and flight test operations 
  • Manage the team responsible for creating, maintaining, and implementing the company processes and procedures for cross-functional areas, such as: planning, scheduling, cost estimate and control, Agile transformation, and risk management for a successful and on-time aircraft delivery 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of leadership experience 
  • Functional management experience for a team greater than 3
  • Experience with waterfall planning utilizing an integrated master schedule (IMS)
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering
  • Process development, and scaling experience
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills and experience working across cross functional organizations and companies

Preferred

  • Aerospace experience, familiarity with aerospace development and gate review process
  • Agile or scaled agile certifications
  • MBA or Master’s degree in engineering
  • Scrum Master Certification
