Job Description

We are looking for a Program Operations Lead to support the teams that serve customers through energy efficiency, waste reduction, and carbon reduction programs at CET.  The Program Operations Lead supports Program Specialists by providing expertise, planning, support, and training. The Program Operations Lead excels at communication, establishing excellent rapport with customers and coworkers on the phone, over email, and in meetings. The Program Operations Lead coordinates activities across a matrix and is responsible for accurate communication and effective transfer of in-process activities and follow-up to resolve quality issues.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides daily direction and communication to employees so that program operations are successful.
  • Provides coaching and guidance on program requirements, customer communications, technical non-conformance issues and other non-routine situations.
  • Updates program implementation procedures, and program references.
  • Evaluates processes and procedures and suggests methods to improve operations.
  • Ensures employees have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs, and trains new employees on technical and programmatic details.
  • Provide program information to customers and prospects over phone and email.
  • Performs QAQC of program and customer data in various platforms to track customer interactions and results.
  • Fulfills data reporting reports for internal, and external data requests, and invoicing

What You Offer

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for CET's Mission and a desire to work in a non-profit environment. You have a college degree and at least 3 years' customer service experience; non-profit experience preferred with a focus on environmental/sustainability. Must have the ability to inspire and motivate, delegate, and convey confidence and enthusiasm. Excellence in Microsoft Office. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platform preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical partners. Accuracy and attention to detail required.

 

Must be proactive resourceful. Must be adaptable, flexible, and work well in a constantly changing environment with a busy workload. Must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Remote employees must have a phone, high speed internet access, and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours. The ideal candidate is well-organized and is able to learn a variety of software platforms, and other digital tools to track and report on data.
