Legal Intern (IP & Commercial)

Who You Are 

As an Intern on the Legal team, you will help us implement projects designed to improve the operations and effectiveness of our intellectual property and commercial teams. You are interested in working in an in-house corporate legal department, and will own comprehensive, value-add projects focused on intellectual property and related commercial transactions.

Responsibilities & Duties 

• Conduct legal research, draft memoranda, and make presentations to the legal team and other stakeholders on a variety of legal topics
• Review and summarize select legal contracts for various business owners and department projects
• Create training materials for our internal knowledge center
• Assist with other special projects and initiatives

Knowledge & Skill Requirements 

• Current law school student or new graduate (2022) 
• Undergraduate degree in a STEM field is a plus
• Strong course work in intellectual property law and contract law
• Excellent legal writing, legal research, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and high level of attention to detail
• A collaborative style with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with little or no supervision
