Indigo is seeking a Customer Operations Associate to join our team in Budapest, Hungary. You will support business operations, logistics, and data and project management. This role requires fluency in both English and Hungarian (written and verbal). 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Location: Hungary, Budapest)

OPERATIONAL BUSINESS SUPPORT

  • Coordinates and stores contract signature between customers, Indigo and relevant partners, in line with commercial policy and legal definitions
  • Owns end-to-end sales order execution and manages any performance issues and exceptions to successful resolution

LOGISTICS

  • Support end to end international shipments including preparation and issue of required documentation.
  • Keep tracking of deliveries and resolve any operating issues
  • Provide support in setting up any new 3PL providers if/when required

MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT

  • Support European customer operations with setting up and managing required customer, credit and product data in ERP System

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Project management and translation support for R&D collaboration with Hungarian partner.

DEMAND AND SUPPLY PLANNING

  • Takes active part and supports establishing European demand and supply plan
  • Manages inventory planning to ensure stock availability for the respective European markets for each season and aligns with commercial teams on volume allocation vs sales forecast
  • Follows production plan and support execution of packing requirements

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5 years of customer service experience in an international environment
  • Experience in managing external service providers in multiple countries
  • Strong focus on delivering superior customer experience; demonstrated can-do problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Diligent and autonomous work style and strong prioritization and execution skills
  • Experience in agriculture is an advantage

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Full proficiency (verbal and written) in English and Hungarian required, other European languages is an advantage
