Software Developer for Carbon-Reducing SaaS Scaleup

We are looking for Java/Groovy/React Software Developer to join our fast-growing team. Substantial experience in at least one of these is required.

One Click LCA is a SaaS platform that cuts carbon from built environment and manufacturing, responsible for 40 % of world’s carbon emissions. One Click LCA is the world leader in its field and it is used in 130 countries. The One Click LCA team of 70+ professionals consist of over 20 nationalities.

This role can be based in Helsinki or remote. English proficiency is required, Finnish is not. Relocation can be supported for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop components, services and their integrations
  
• Investigate and implement solutions to technical problems or issues
• Deliver good quality, maintainable code
• Investigate and fix technical issues and improvement opportunities
• Review code from other developers and identify areas of improvement
• Contribute to design decisions in cooperation with others

Skills

You are a self-starter who can take initiative to find a solution and get the results, you have delivered software to production. You have 3-5 years experience in server-based Java/Groovy architectures or React/front-end solutions. You contribute clean, working code into an existing, large-scale system.

You are “Lazy” type of developer who rather solves a problem once in a way that keeps it solved and want to improve things. You work well in a team, and motivation for sustainability is an advantage.
