Job Description

Join Archive in our mission to change consumer behavior for the better. If you think humans buy too much stuff and throw too much away, then this problem is for you. We’re starting with fashion and expanding from there.
Archive is building an ‘operating system for resale’ that delivers a customized online secondhand marketplace site and the underlying infrastructure and operations to plug into all of the other facets of a brand’s global resale strategy.

About the role

  • Collaborate with engineering team to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Implement efficient and effective recruiting processes and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Proactively reach out to high-quality candidates that are well-suited for open roles and Archive's needs
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates and schedule interviews
  • Identify and recommend salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other relevant details

About you

  • You’re excited about joining a small, early-stage team and are willing to wear many hats and do whatever is important to the company
  • You understand the nuances of technical recruiting and love finding and recruiting the best technical talent
  • You’re self-directed and comfortable creating your own work and creatively solving a diverse set of problems across the organization
  • You are mission driven and love the fact that the better we do as a company, the less waste we’ll see in the world.

Skills / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4-5 years of work experience in recruiting, specifically for technical, engineering role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with solid negotiation tactics
  • Experience creating and implementing sourcing strategies for recruiting
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Bonus: Experience with Lever (or equivalent applicant tracking platform)

We're a fast growing team, live with over 10 brands including The North Face and Oscar De La Renta. The founders, Emily and Ryan, bring over a decade of business and technology experience including 2 startups and a successful exit.
The team is currently remote-first with hub offices in NY and LA and optional in-person work for those located in either of those two cities. Occasional travel expected.
