We are present on four continents and are headquartered in Oslo, Norway. Main purpose of positionCurrently we are looking for a Site Civil Quality Manager, Buciumi, Bacau , to join our global team. You will Provide core quality management services that will be used to support the development and project work streams in all their relevant activities. The core support services will include the management of Quality Assurance and Quality Control, Management of quality documents, Maintain and report on Non-conformance register on site and advise Site Manager and Project Manager on quality issues on site as well as taking part in internal audits of the project. Project location – Buciumi, Bacau Main responsibilities <ul> <li>Manage the site quality team, support the corporate quality managers and ensure that quality goals are achieved</li> <li>Propose site-specific processes improvements on a continuous basis in order to maintain and optimize the quality of the site to corporate quality</li> <li>Work to raise awareness of compliance with the quality management system in the site and advocate quality culture</li> <li>Ensure that all contractual, company and local authority requirements are complied with</li> <li>Implement and monitor site quality management system</li> <li>Audits on contractors during construction</li> <li>Liaise with client quality representative to ensure that all potential and actual quality issues are fully resolved</li> <li>Ensure quality TTO documents are all compliant and available</li> <li>Monthly and biweekly report writing</li> <li>Review and follow-up Supplier/Subcontractor NCR’s and lead in developing corrective action plans</li> <li>Review and approve Supplier/Subcontractor quality documents or delegate to proper review and assure they get to the project teams as needed</li> <li>Facilitating procured equipment inspections </li> <li>Facilitating expedites</li> <li>FAT and inspection report review (applicable to FIM, HV yard and BOP)</li> <li>Contractor kick-off meeting refresher</li> <li>Review and approval of Quality Plans from suppliers and subcontractors</li></ul>Qualifications and competencies <ul> <li>University degree in economic-technical engineering and/or business/economics </li> <li>At least 3 years’ experience in Quality management in construction projects. </li> <li>Quality management professional with wide experience in process management, inspection, site construction and installation </li> <li>Verifiable record in quality management on several complex projects in ‘medium’ to ‘high focus’ environments </li> <li>Experience in the development and implementation of project QA/QC plans </li> <li>Competent to lead specialist peer-assist and review teams</li> <li>Hands-on: understanding of being interested in how things work out in the field</li> <li>Good knowledge in ISO 9001:2008</li> <li>Skilled at identifying project critical success factors and adopting appropriate risk management practices</li> <li>Broad understanding of quality principles and ability to oversee their implementation</li> <li>Language:Fluent both written and spoken in Romanian and English</li></ul>Additional information: 12 month contract, driver license Personal characteristicsIt is part of every employee’s term of reference to contribute to Scatec's vision: Improving our Future and adhering to our company values which are:<ul> <li>Predictable: demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, share information in an open and honest way</li> <li>Driving results: demonstrate determination, pro-activeness, can prioritize and work independently</li> <li>Changemaker: demonstrate entrepreneurship, can challenge, fast learner, take initiates and adjust</li> <li>Working together: demonstrate teamwork, shares responsibilities, can compromise, has a can-do attitude</li></ul>We offerScatec is an exciting, innovative and ambitious company operating in a growing industry.
