Our Supply Chain Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring Spare Parts are available to support our customers across the globe.  From Demand Planning to Supply Planning, and collaborating across functions including Product Development, Product Support, Retail Service, and Sourcing, you will have the opportunity to build robust processes and plans that have a direct positive impact on Customer Experience every day.  You will be responsible for creating, implementing and executing plans with the objective of delivering excellence in customer experience, synchronizing supply with demand, increasing inventory efficiency to improve inventory turns and Days of Supply (DOS).

Why You’re Rad (about you):

  • 5-7 years of experience supporting global supply chain operations, inclusive of recent experience focused on managing supply from overseas suppliers.
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations or Business Administration
  • Direct experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, & inventory management
  • An innovator driving strategies and tactics to ensure customer experience is optimized in a difficult supply environment
  • Data driven with the ability to mine data to join up the dots
  • A supply chain technician who knows when to trust their instincts and move forward with the ‘best estimate’ while simultaneously building processes needed to add precision and accuracy 
  • Ability to support key projects and programs that advance initiatives and develop capabilities supporting Rad Power Bikes’s growth and profitability improvements
  • Ability to make their voice heard and to steer, in a collaborative manner, to drive positive results with their aim on customer satisfaction at all times
  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements:

  • Adept at working cross-functionally to define and gather key inputs necessary for robust planning
  • Able to build connected processes with service and product development teams to handle forecasts for new product introduction and end of life products
  • Ability to create, own & improve metrics, dashboards and workflows that support activities like repair operations, inventory optimization & regional planning
  • Hands-on Experience managing demand and supply through ERP/MRP tools and including knowledge of configuring key inputs to drive Purchase Orders aligned with Demand and Inventory plans
  • Gives specific attention to shortage or out of stock parts, prioritizing through collaboration with the Global Sourcing team to quickly resolve supply gaps
  • Ability to identify and manage risk of inventory obsolescence, working cross-functionally to mitigate write-offs
  • Advanced MS Excel skills and statistical analysis skills to assess key inputs to demand and supply plans

You get bonus points for:

  • Experience managing Spare Parts for complex assembled items across demand channels.
  • Prior knowledge of components and parts in bicycle operation and assembly
  • Knowledge and exposure to Continuous Improvement techniques like LEAN & Six Sigma
  • Comfortable managing through ambiguity as Rad’s business and organization grows and learns
  • Experience in a multi-channel sales environment, supporting retail service operations and direct to consumer service solutions
  • Working knowledge on data management/visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.

Had you been with us last month, you would have:

  • Worked with Product Development to ensure robust BOM’s and sourcing plans are in place to ensure Spare Parts are available for new product launches
  • Coordinated with Logistics to rebalance supply across the globe
  • Worked closely with Product Support to ensure Technicians are ordering the right parts for the right applications from available supply
  • Classified and defined inventory targets at retail locations to ensure service centers operate at the highest level
  • Worked closely with Accounting to manage overstocked items and obsolescence with an eye toward long-term serviceability of Rad’s products
  • Worked through complex problems in detail to bring clarity and methodology to processes and controls
