Position: HR Generalist 

Preferred location: Remote, United States

Pivot Bio has a great opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our growing People Team.  Partnering closely with Talent Development & Business Partners, this role will help ensure a positive employee experience and build Pivot Bio’s capacity for continued success.  If you have a passion for working with mission-driven people tackling big challenges, developing your people practice skills, and building thoughtful programs from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you!  

What you'll do: 

  • Work closely with Business Partners to foster a positive and supportive learning environment. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate information flows that facilitate excellent people practices. 
  • Identify and help continuously improve how we reinforce our values, remove obstacles to creative, innovative work and support a feedback culture. 
  • Partner and coordinate with People Operations, Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Business Partners for ongoing and new initiatives through the employee lifecycle. 
  • Amplify and reinforce People Operations initiatives, including benefit services, employee welfare programs.  
  • Administer and drive improvements to HR programs, policies, processes helping ensure compliance with local, state and federal employment regulations across multiple US offices. 
  • Facilitate the adoption of HR programs, policies, and processes to improve the enablement and experience of employees and managers. 

Desired Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business, or equivalent experience. PHR/SHRM-CP certification a plus. 
  • 3+ years Human Resources/People Operations experience required, in a research/data-driven environment preferred. 
  • Demonstrated success in supporting and partnering with all levels of staff, in a fast-growing environment. 
  • Versatile with different business groups, from research to operations to administration. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail required. 
  • Penchant for continuous improvement and exceeding internal customer expectations desired.
