BrightAction - Account Executive

BrightAction is a B2B SaaS employee engagement platform that makes it simple, easy and fun for employees to discover their current footprint, learn about solutions and take affordable actions.  Our advanced calculator provides robust impact metrics and gamifies participation with goals, levels and team competitions and we connect users to share and support each other in taking action.  Our platform provides companies custom branding and engagement tools to drive participation and make an impact on climate change.

The Opportunity

Companies are looking for innovative ways to make an impact and empower their employees to take actions. There is a large unmet demand that creates an exceptional growth opportunity. We have developed a leading position in on-line tools to make a difference and now we need a sales leader with the energy and vision to scale in this new market, and in the process create a better, brighter future. This is a chance for a sales professional with great foundational skills to jumpstart a career in a rapidly growing field.

We’ve raised a seed round and acquired key customers and channel partners. We offer a competitive salary plus equity and a commission structure of 10% commission until your salary is covered, then 20% commission on all deals.

As Account Executive you will roll up your sleeves and help build the pipeline and sales process for Mid-Market B2B sales for our platform.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with founding team to help develop our sales strategy
  • Own the full sales cycle, including working inbound leads as well as outbound prospecting
  • Develop relationships with executives and corporate sustainability/CSR leaders to build pipeline and close mid-market and channel partners deals
  • Represent BrightAction at key climate and sustainability events and conferences
  • Collaborate with the Account team (contracts, billing, customer success) to create successful onboarding experiences
  • Champion your customers with internal teams to advise product and customer success strategies

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of sales success
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of B2B SaaS software sales experience
  • Passion for the mission of advancing climate solutions
  • Experience in a startup environment, prospecting and building sales pipeline
  • Ability to work from home/remote and travel occasionally
  • Understanding of the Sustainability, Employee Engagement or CSR markets preferred
  • Experience working with a mid-market SAAS company preferred
  • Experience with HubSpot CRM or equivalent a plus
