Job Description

Redaptive is looking for a Sales Executive to join our Sales team who is eager to expand our product reach across the commercial real estate industry. The ideal Sales Executive is data-driven about sales, passionate about prospecting and closing pipeline, and excited to help potential customers run energy efficient buildings and help guide customers on their Sustainability journeys. In this role you will be responsible for prospecting and closing deals and working leads. This position reports to the Director, Business Development.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build a strong pipeline through outreach, prospecting, and qualification of cold and warm leads via phone and email 
  • Move potential customers through the sales pipeline by educating, answering questions, and sending resources about Redaptive’s products 
  • Identify new sales opportunities by researching companies, contacts, and markets – finding the key decision maker or target segment to contact excites you 
  • Build relationships with prospects, gathering key information to position Redaptive products and close the deal 
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales & Marketing Teams to hit targets together, collaborating on initiatives and campaigns 

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience in developing sales or channel sales, managing partnerships, ideally in B2B-SaaS, real estate technology, and/or IoT industries with a successful track record of outperforming your targets 
  • Experience selling to the Commercial Real Estate and REIT segment is highly preferred
  • Experience selling IoT, energy management, or building management solutions is a plus
  • Fluent in Salesforce.com -- you know how to use the tools in SFDC to manage prospecting and pipeline 
  • Sharp negotiation skills when it comes to ironing out contractual terms with decision-makers 
  • Ability to uncover customer needs and wants by asking quality probing questions
  • Solution-oriented and consultative attitude to approaching sales and building relationships 
  • Experience collaborating with marketing and customer success teams to drive increased pipeline & customer satisfaction 
  • Thrive in a highly dynamic, rapid-growth and demanding environment
  • Excellent communication skills with superb listening skills; you must understand objections and defeat them by turning skeptics into ecstatic new customers 
  • Ability to uncover customer needs and desire by asking quality probing questions
  • Have an ergonomically correct and functional work-from-home workstation set up; amenable to working from home for the foreseeable future
