QA/QC Associate

Here at Modern Meadow we are harnessing the power of design, biology, and engineering to produce biofabricated materials and bioproducts. As we continue to grow we are seeking to hire a QA/QC Associate. This individual will lead and coordinate all stability projects, updating and implementing any changes to the process as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Help design stability studies, long-term and accelerated, for multiple departments and projects
• Write Stability Protocols and ensure appropriate team members notified
• Facilitate logistics of the study and Analytical support; managing multiple studies at once
• Coordinate sample aliquoting, labeling and storage
• Coordinate pulling samples and submitting for appropriate testing
• Shipping samples for external testing when needed
• Responsible for sending reminders when testing timepoints are approaching
• Oversee completion of Stability Report
• Assist with other team functions such as reviewing and releasing data in LIMS as well as document control

Requirements:

• B.S. in Life Science or related degree
• 0-3 year’s experience with long-term and accelerate stability studies 
• Experience using LIMS preferred
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to present and analyze data
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to handle a fast-paced environment with ability to manage competing priorities
