FULL-TIME PERMANENT POSITION
OVERVIEW
Terramera is actively seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor responsible for managing and organizing the day-to-day operations at our state-of-art Research & Development labs across Biology and Chemistry groups. Equipped with a strong technical aptitude and systemic mindset, the successful candidate is adept in maintaining high health & safety standards and improving the lab operations processes.
This position will establish you as a mission-critical member to achieving Terramera's mission in reducing synthetic pesticides in agriculture, so we can grow more affordable, clean food for everyone, globally.
Terramera’s advanced research labs combine formulation chemistry with in vitro and in planta bioassays to develop high-performance products. More specifically, these labs make use of automated liquid and plant handlers and imaging microplate reader, paired with high-throughput screening processes established for plant pathology, entomology, and weed science.
YOUR MISSION
To implement, maintain and optimize complex lab management system and processes to ensure all research labs are performing at optimal state.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Reporting to the R&D Operations Manager, the Laboratory Supervisor works closely with management and scientists to design, implement, enforce, and maintain processes and systems (Lab Operations Plan) for optimal productivity. The Lab Supervisor will also interact with Facilities management for improvements in the overall laboratory environment and working conditions, and the Health and Safety Committee to monitor and improve safety standards.
