We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our team. The goal of a Compliance Specialist at Wisk is to support the execution of quality and compliance activities to ensure compliance to regulations, standards and Wisk processes. You will be part of the Safety and Quality team that is committed to creating, implementing and developing a culture of continuous improvement.

Why we need you:

  • With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team under the Safety and Quality department. The goal of the Compliance Specialist at Wisk is to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements needed to build the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment. In support of this goal, you will be part of the compliance team that leads and partners with organizations on developing our Quality Management Systems (QMS), internal audit programs and establishes our process assurance processes. Your goal is to make sure that all data and requirements are available, tracked and reported on to support compliance activities within schedule. Your mission is to continuously improve our culture of quality, compliance and safety. 
  • The successful candidate is effective at communication at different levels of the organization to provide support and oversight of multiple disciplinaries. In this role, the candidate must be highly skilled at scheduling and time management.

What you will do:

  • As part of the Safety and Quality organization, and deployed in an Compliance team you will act as a Compliance analyst for a novel type of aircraft development targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • You will take part in implementing and developing a culture of continuous improvement
  • You will support design, certification, manufacturing and supply chain teams to establish process assurance best practices. 
  • You will help support problem solving activities in compliance gaps
  • You will help track and trend compliance activities on a periodic basis
  • You will track and report on compliance roadmap status using requirements management software.
  • You will take part in project management of internal audits
  • You will work with Quality Management Representative to ensure the organization meets AS9100 and FAA Part 21 requirements
  • In some areas, you will be working closely with Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and Safety Management Systems for compliance and oversight

What you have done:

  • B.S. in a relevant discipline with at least 3 years of experience in Quality, Compliance and/or Project Management
  • You have practical experience in aviation, or other regulated industries
  • You have hands-on experience in project management of Quality or Compliance projects.
  • You have a strong and applied understanding of metrics and KPIs

Desired:

  • You are familiar with AS9100 and FAA Part 21 requirements
  • Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence
  • Experience using Siemens Polarion ALM 
  • Experience using Siemens Teamcenter
