About the Role:

The Customer Success team at Cruise is the primary human connection with our customers. In this role, you’ll be an early member of a critical team in a rapidly developing industry.

As Program Manager, Content Development and Management, you’ll work closely with front-line CS teams and with cross-functional partners in training, content design, product, and operations to understand key knowledge, messages, and training needed to support your customers; both internal and external.

You will work to align our CS communications with Cruise voice, tone, and policy guidelines. This role will be very hands on and you should be excited about diving into the details and staying close to the customer experience. People who thrive in this role will be curious, analytical, flexible, adaptable, dynamic, and collaborative!

What you'll be doing:

  • Work from our Phoenix or SF offices or travel to them quarterly
  • Design conversational flows and communication templates which our frontline team of CS Specialists will use to deliver consistently exceptional customer support interactions
  • Own the CS knowledge base, be responsible for the design and development of our CS knowledge base, website FAQs, and in-app customer help resources
  • Build beautiful presentations and storylines that illustrate the highs and lows of our current customer journeys, and how training opportunities can raise the bar
  • Drive continuous improvement in knowledge base and content in a way that enables scale, relevancy, ease of access, and engagement
  • Analyze quality and performance data to evaluate which topics are top-priority for content development, new training modules, knowledge articles, or FAQ content

What you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in copy writing or content development related to customer support, learning and development, or quality assessment programs
  • 2+ years of program management, leading initiatives from ideation to execution, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Excellent storyteller, including verbal, written, and visual, who can help others emotionally connect to the vision, the why, and how each element/moment is a critical component to the overarching journey
  • Experience using data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate opportunities to improve customer support interactions 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented work environment. You create order, without stifling progress
