Job Description

At Lune, we are looking for someone ambitious to lead carbon project assessment, project developer partnerships, and carbon credit procurement. We are on the mission to make every product and service climate positive by default. We are starting by offering the API for carbon offsetting and emissions calculations.

 

We are a remote-first team with an office in central London. We have raised $4m in seed funding from Crane and leading angel investors, such as the founder of N26, founder of Voi, founder of OysterHR. What you’ll do

  • Ensure Lune always remains at the forefront of climate innovation
  • Own everything related to carbon supply. Define how we assess carbon projects at scale, build relationships with project developers, enter purchase agreements both in the spot and forward markets.
  • Build relationships with key industry organisations and policy makers, such as TSVCM, TCFD, certification standards etc.
  • Support our Product team to ensure our product adheres to the latest standards and always stays ahead
  • Support our Marketing team to deliver best in class communication and messaging relating to climate and carbon markets
  • Support our customers in building a best in class climate strategy and educate them on how to best use high-quality carbon offsets and innovative carbon removal to drive business growth

 

You will fit this role if you

Desirable skills and experience

  • 4-8 years of experience in sustainability-focused consulting, startup, corporate or environmental role
  • Knowledge of carbon markets, regulation, standards (GHG Protocol, SBTi, TCFD etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
