Job Description

About CarbonCure Technologies

CarbonCure Technologies is an award-winning clean technology company leading a global mission to reduce the carbon footprint of concrete – the world’s most used building material. Our vision is to drive an annual reduction of 500 megatonnes of carbon dioxide(CO2) emissions; the equivalent of removing 100 million cars from the road. Our technology has been installed in over 400 concreteplants in North America, Asia, and Europe. CarbonCure is proud to be named the Cleantech Group Global 100’s Top North American Company in 2020, and the winner of the global NRG COSIA Carbon XPRIZE. We are backed by Breakthrough Energy Ventures, the Amazon Climate Pledge Fund, and Mitsubishi.

Our Culture

Our team is made up of energetic, entrepreneurial individuals who are passionate about driving meaningful solutions to combat climate change. Besides being dedicated to our mission, we believe in work-life balance and active involvement in our local community. We value integrity and accountability; and our core values include high performance, collaboration, straight-talk, and continued innovation. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, but we are here to change the world.

Purpose Driven Position

CarbonCure’s rapidly growing Carbon Finance team is looking for an intellectually curious and driven individual with a passion for battling climate change to join our group! The Carbon Finance team operates as a startup business unit within the broader company and is responsible for maximizing the revenue, profitability, and impact of the carbon finance solutions and assets generated by CarbonCure’s carbon dioxide removal technologies.  The Carbon Finance team primarily accomplishes this by helping corporate clients achieve their sustainability goals through the sale of its carbon removal credits.

In this role, you will help across the Carbon Finance team by working on strategy and operations for new business projects and by providing support to the broader Carbon Finance Business Development team in the sale of carbon removal credits. You will have ample room for growth and to play an increasingly larger role in the shaping of the broader CarbonCure business.  Ideal for those looking to make an outsized impact at a foundational stage for our team and to become a leader in climate tech strategy, operations, and business development.

As a CarbonCure team member you are joining the fight against climate change, and representing a patented & commercially successful climate tech solution that is proven to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lock away carbon dioxide in concrete for millennia.  Does making a real difference matter to you?
