Purpose-driven position

Reporting to the SVP of Global Sales, the Commercial Leader for Europe has the mandate to build and lead a go-to-market strategy successfully introducing CarbonCure to the ready mix, precast, and masonry concrete industry within Europe and the UK.  The strategy will include identifying early adopters that align with CarbonCure’s ideal customer profile, supporting efforts to obtain regulatory approval, engaging with industry associations & stakeholders to build brand awareness, and working with Marketing to implement demand generation programs.  Further, the Commercial Leader will help build a team of Sales, Technical, and Market Development professionals charged with winning new customers, and turning them into CarbonCure promoters.  The Commercial Leader will liaise with senior leadership across the company to communicate the needs and progress in developing the European market for CarbonCure.  With success, the role is expected to transition to Managing Director for EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) with P/L responsibility.

 What you'll need to succeed

 

  • Track record of building & leading high performing sales teams in concrete, construction, admixture, or technology sector(s)
  • Experienced bringing a new technology or product to the European market; bonus points if this was on behalf of a North American vendor
  • Process driven including sales methodology & forecasting, business management, and customer success operations
  • Familiar with navigating regulatory approval processes that can be different from country to country
  • Business acumen and communication style enabling you to interact easily with senior business leaders
  • Practiced and comfortable leading from the front and in the trenches
  • Skilled and experienced in attracting, enabling, and inspiring top talent
  • Leadership skills that extend across departments, supporting achievement of the “big picture”
  • Experience leading a team that is part of a growing international business is a plus
  • Adaptability, at ease with continuous change that is the hallmark of a technology company
  • Desire to join a company that is growing like crazy
