Purpose Driven Position

Reporting to the Engineering Manager - Mixer Technology, and located in the Central or Southwest United States, the Field Technician provides technical expertise and customer support to drive our customers through a seamless installation of the CarbonCure equipment at the customer concrete plant. The objective of this role is to ensure that the CarbonCure systems are properly installed at customers plants and complete this work when other means (contractor or customer maintenance) are unavailable. Working in a dynamic, high growth environment is fun, however the big picture is more important.  As a CarbonCure team member you are joining the fight against climate change; representing a patented technology proven to reduce the carbon footprint of the concrete industry. About You

The successful candidate has organizational and project management skills, high attention to detail, hands on experience installing equipment in the field (electrical and piping) and a willingness to travel extensively. This is a team environment where collaboration and communication skills are critical to facilitate teamwork with cross functional departments.

 

What You Need to Succeed

  • 2-4 years in a similar role
  • A work safe mindset while onsite to ensure your safety as well as customers safety during installations
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and problem solve in front of customers
  • Ability to maintain an overview of entire projects while continuing to attend to detailed technicalities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload to achieve pre-determined goals
  • Experience in an industrial environment/industrial equipment installation. Familiarity with concrete batch systems would be an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, electrical schematics/diagrams, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Self-motivated, easily adapts to new challenges and issues
  • Individual must be organized and detail oriented
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Able to deliver high caliber output under tight timelines, comfortable working in a work environment typical with start-up companies
  • Must be willing to travel extensively and have a valid passport
  • Adaptability, at ease with continuous change that is the hallmark of a technology company
