Job Description

At Future, we believe the fight against climate change is personal. We are on a mission to democratize climate-smart living and make it easy to do what’s right for the planet. We are building the ecosystem the net-zero economy, connecting our members with the brands, products and services that are good for the planet and good for their wallet.

We are looking for an Editorial Summer Intern to research and write articles and shorter content pieces for our members, providing relevant insights, original perspectives and useful tips for people looking to learn more about climate change, reduce their carbon footprint and save money in the process.

The Editorial Summer Intern will report to the Community Management Associate, who is located on the West coast.  We expect this role to be 100% remote, though there may be opportunity to join events as we build the Future movement. The hours are flexible with an expected commitment of 20-40 hours per week. You can work from anywhere in the U.S. This is a paid internship.

Qualifications:

  • You are concerned about climate change and are committed to inspiring millions of people from all walks of life to take the fight against climate change into their own hands and make a measurable difference. • It is a plus if you are in a field of study related to climate, sustainability, and/or communication

  • Prior experience with content marketing and SEO is preferred.

  • Note: Writing samples will be required later in the interviewing process.
