The Demand Planner will report to the VP of Ops. This role is based out of New York.
Specifically, they will:●      Design, implement and lead the North America S&OP process together with support material and presentation decks●      Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation●      Review historical sales trends, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results●      Coordinate baseline enrichment with multifunctional support inputs for both existing products and new launching products.●      Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions and improve forecast accuracy●      Interact with sales, marketing, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.●      Use and maintain the Demand Planning software as the primary forecasting system tool.●      Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.●      Control forecast accuracy (planned vs actual), create and share reports to inform functional areas and coordinate actionable business decisions to meet targets
Requirements:
      BA/BS college degree or its equivalent. ●      5+ years of progressive CPG experience; experience in food a plus●      Demand planning experience is a must●      APICS or other forecasting Certifications preferred●      Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts●      Proficient in English and Spanish is a plus●      Possess strong presentation and relationship building skills●      Works well in teams and cross-functional groups in a matrixed environment, both regionally and globally      Curious, logical, and action-oriented●      Passion for working in a fast-paced environment and a proven ability to multi-task●      Excel in a start-up environment and excited to create new procedures and processes from scratch, with a strong entrepreneurial mindset●      Be agile, adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic and changing culture●      Authorization to work in the U.S. required We are an equal opportunity employer.
