About the Role

We are hiring an Executive Assistant to support multiple executives on our Hardware team.

In this role, you would work with a driven, fast paced and enthusiastic team with a diverse set of backgrounds and perspectives, all dedicated to making Cruise succeed.

The products the team works on, would meaningfully move the needle on the Cruise business case and provide mobility for everyone.

What you’ll be doing:

Executive Support:

  • Understand the priorities and objectives of your leaders and their teams and act as gatekeeper, time-advocate, and liaison for all executives you support
  • Manage your Executive’s calendar, organizing and arranging a high volume of scheduling requests and meetings
  • Arrange travel, schedule transit, and make reservations for Executives
  • Assist with preparation and formatting of presentation materials and documents
  • Coordinate various meetings, functions, and events including quarterly retreats and team-building offsites

Hardware Team Support:

  • Act as a point person: support team requests inside and outside your organization, problem-solve, and assist with keeping the team on-track and organized
  • Create staff meeting agendas, attend meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items
  • Manage various team systems like team calendars Slack channels
  • Take on special projects as needed, including department level activities. This includes but is not limited to managing Glint Surveys, Training, Space Planning, and PowerPoint presentations
  • Be a culture-contributor: oversee department culture initiatives, track, highlight, and celebrate important team cultural/career moments

What you must have:

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 4-5 years of related work experience and general knowledge within functional area
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter that can take a task and run with it with little guidance
  • Quick learner who can pick up on our systems
  • Familiarity with business process tools like GSuite, Slack, Smartsheet, Zoom, etc
  • Ability to think ahead and be proactive while maintaining high levels of confidentiality
  • Creative problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing special projects
  • Excellent calendar and time management skills
