About the Role

The Fleet Operations Associate is a strategic partner for Market Operations. The duties for the role range from ensuring we are properly tracking damage and incidents to reduce and eliminate costs as well as ensuring we meet DOT standards when required. This role requires someone who is a great communicator who will be working with a wide number of partners through our market operations, accounting and legal teams along with a wide number of external partners.

 

Fleet Operations Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with local market teams to track and document vehicle related incidents to facilitate a timely resolution.
  • Review and validate all demands from rental and insurance companies.
  • Identify areas where additional training in markets could eliminate repetitive damage costs; create and present training materials to markets.
  • Analyze cause and type of incidents or damage and track KPIs.
  • Support local operations by facilitating vehicle related requests utilizing a help desk system.
  • Ensure we collect required documents from new drivers who operate in a market with DOT regulated vehicles.
  • Conduct vehicle audits to ensure our markets have the proper number of vehicles and are properly documented.
  • Work cross functionally with our legal and accounts payable team along with external vendors.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 years of fleet vehicles, claims, Insurance related experience
  • Proficient in Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Google Suite
  • A solid team player who’s also an independent thinker
  • Deadline-driven, organized, and able to multitask

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
