About this Role
As the first Marketing Lead at Evergrow, you will conceive, develop, and drive our marketing and demand generation strategy, working closely with our CEO and leadership team. You will have significant freedom to define what marketing means at Evergrow. Ideally, you have a track record of going from zero to one with marketing, and are comfortable across brand marketing, content creation, product marketing, and demand generation. Additionally, you ideally bring experience at a venture-backed company - particularly fintech - and can simplify complicated financial topics and processes for our customers and partners. You are both a big-picture thinker and a do-er, something who can build and then implement a comprehensive strategy.

You will be responsible for ...

  • Developing and executing on Evergrow's end-to-end marketing strategy
  • Creating Evergrow's brand story, including value propositions, messaging, and positioning for our company
  • Leading the creation and execution of go-to-market plans for our products, in partnership with sales leadership
  • Creating and distributing content / collateral for a variety of audiences, including different types of customers (e.g., renewable energy project developers, corporate sustainability teams, major financial institutions) and partners
  • Generating demand for our products, including conversion of leads to MQLs
  • Working across Product, Engineering, Design, and Business Development teams to improve and drive adoption of our products
  • Conducting market research and customer interviews to help define core personas and target companies, and  
  • Exceeding brand awareness and pipeline goals

This might be for you if you have...

  • 6+ years of professional experience in marketing, ideally at a fintech startup
  • Experience in B2B marketing, particularly with institutional investors
  • Comfort across brand marketing, product marketing, content creation, and demand generation, ideally with expertise in content creation or product marketing
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and developing strategy for new products and brands, especially in niche areas
  • Ability to execute on strategy, in addition to developing it - you can create and launch campaigns, deploy messaging, and conduct research needed to implement strategy
  • Proven project management skills and experience leading across functions to achieve common goals
  • A strong desire to work on climate
