About The Role (What you will get to do)

The Director of Strategic Alliances will be responsible for growing sales, expanding our addressable markets and managing our relationships with fast growth, emerging technology alliances. This individual should have a good understanding of strategic alliances, scalable partner programs, and enterprise data solutions. Sustainability industry knowledge is a plus but not required. This role will be responsible for growing the alliance revenue contribution while collaborating with Persefoni marketing, product and field and channel sales teams.

Responsibilities (What we expect)
  • Develop and drive Alliances go to market plans resulting in meaningful incremental revenue contribution to the company.
  • Craft tactics and programs that synchronize together internal objectives and capabilities in conjunction with methodologies and effective execution abilities of the Alliances.
  • Identify a select number of high potential emerging Alliance partners and use an annual business plan approach to maximize their success and contributions to Persefoni.
  • Refine and evolve a repeatable and scalable Alliance program to qualify, onboard and nurture a large set of ecosystem partners
  • Manage a balanced relationship approach where the benefits to Persefoni and the Alliances are in proportion to our respective value and investments.
  • Work with Persefoni product marketing teams to jointly define integration opportunities and product roadmap recommendations.
  • Understand and communicate Persefoni’s solution as it relates to emerging alliances, our product offerings, market scale and business enablers.
  • Communication and regional execution:
  • Collaborate and communicate across regional marketing and sales teams for planning and delivery of programs.
  • Discover, evaluate and recommend investment in marketing opportunities offered by emerging alliances or partners, manage Persefoni’s participation in alliance partner activities.

Business Leadership:

  • Model the Persefoni Operating Principles in every process of the role.
  • Foster a growth mindset, continually learning and expanding your understanding of our company’s vision, our partner’s needs, and the ever-evolving market landscape.
  • Drive incremental revenue growth and partner retention through strategic go-to-market planning and execution. 
Qualifications (What you bring to the role)
  • Bachelor degree highly desired.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise software and/or developing strategic alliances.
  • Experience in strategic business development through partner and alliance motions.
  • Proven track record of program and campaign creation for multiple audiences including sales teams.
  • Experience in Public Cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS working with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Experience in building co-selling Alliance based relationships is a must.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required. 
  • Ability to create and execute on business plans.
  • Ability to create and deliver GTM programs/campaigns.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in roles and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently, with limited direction, in a fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Cross team collaboration and motivational skills.
  • Analytical thinker with proven ability to metric, manage and course correct.
How You'll Know You’re on the Right Track
  • Within your first month, you will be able to articulate how Persefoni incorporates carbon accounting standards and sustainability reporting frameworks in its solutions.
  • Within your first month, you will have aligned with the Global Partner Organization and introduced to key Alliance partners. 
  • Within your first 2 months, you will create strategic go to market plans and positioning based upon current and planned Persefoni partner initiatives. 
  • Within your first 3 months, you will be executing partner go-to-market plans that drive incremental revenue and position Persefoni to accelerate global transaction readiness. 
  • Within your first 3 months, you will have a working cadence with our partner and sales management teams to provide direct feedback and guidance on go-to-market strategy, execution and deliverables.
