We are looking for a motivated Automation Service Engineer to join our Service team in Türkiye. In this role, you will support automation-related service activities across customer sites, including commissioning, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous optimization of installed systems. This is a dynamic, hands-on position involving close collaboration with field service teams, direct customer interaction, and frequent travel.Responsibilities / Tasks<div><ul><li>Execute automation service activities at customer sites across Türkiye</li><li>Perform software modifications and upgrades on new and existing equipment</li><li>Support commissioning activities and troubleshooting, both on-site and remotely</li><li>Install upgrade and rebuilding kits and ensure safe reintegration into production</li><li>Collaborate with service engineers and technicians to ensure timely execution and quality standards</li><li>Conduct system inspections (operational, mechanical, electrical, and process) and ensure proper documentation according to company guidelines</li><li>Identify upgrade opportunities and support customers in improving equipment performance and efficiency</li><li>Participate in technical trainings to continuously develop automation and process knowledge</li></ul></div>Your Profile / Qualifications<div><div>Education</div><ul><li>Degree or technical certification in Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field</li></ul>Professional Experience<ul><li>1–3 years of experience in automation service, commissioning, or troubleshooting</li><li>Experience in food, dairy, chemical, environmental, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus</li></ul>Technical Skills<ul><li>Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens preferred), HMI/OP panels, and automation fault finding</li><li>Understanding of electrical systems, including electrical panels, MCCs, and process instrumentation</li><li>Experience with industrial networks and communication protocols:<ul><li>Profinet</li><li>Ethernet/IP</li><li>Profibus</li></ul></li><li>Familiarity with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) such as Danfoss, Schneider, or ABB</li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, P&amp;IDs, and process descriptions</li><li>Basic knowledge of separation technologies (decanters, separators) is an advantage</li></ul><ul><li>Strong experience with PLC programming (Siemens), HMI/OP panels, and automation fault finding</li><li>Solid knowledge of electrical panels, MCCs, process instrumentation, and electrical installations</li><li>Experience with industrial networks and I/O systems (Profinet, Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus)</li><li>Hands-on experience with Danfoss, Schneider, or ABB VFDs</li></ul>Languages &amp; Tools<ul><li>Good command of Turkish &amp; English (written and spoken)</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office tools</li><li>Only applications submitted in English will be considered</li></ul>Personal Profile<ul><li>Strong customer-oriented mindset and service approach</li><li>Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders</li><li>Team player with a collaborative attitude</li><li>Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability</li><li>High level of ownership, accountability, and willingness to learn</li></ul>Mobility &amp; Availability<ul><li>Willingness for frequent travel within Türkiye</li><li>Flexibility to work weekends and overnight when required</li><li><div>Military service completed (if applicable)</div></li></ul></div>Did we spark your interest?
