About Us

The way we heat/cool our homes, power our vehicles, and cook our meals is antiquated: we take for granted that we use fossil fuels in homes to keep them comfortable and healthy. There is a better way.

Elephant Energy is building a home comfort & electrification platform that helps homeowners get clean, safe, and affordable technologies for their homes and vehicles. We are growing quickly, supported by the ever increasing demand from customers for more comfortable homes. We’re looking for Project Managers to successfully deliver home comfort and electrification projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join at the ground floor and shape how we sell and deploy home comfort and home electrification.

The Operations Builder helps design, develop, implement, and manage scalable systems and processes to meet rapid growth.

Role

  • Make us BETTER. Oversee the successful deployment of internal scalable technology platforms to improve how we operate internally.
  • Responsible for the selection, deployment, and management of the systems that form the core of our internal Operating System including our CRM, Project Management Software, Customer Experience, Accounting, and Billing Platforms, etc.
  • Manage our internal Project Playbook including key processes around customer acquisition, contractor-partner onboarding, customer and contractor operations, supply chain, and new market entry.
  • Rigorously make our systems and processes better, more efficient, and more scalable; implement business process automation, as required

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in consulting, business operations, or related work, including relevant internship or academic experience.
  • You have experience setting up software platforms for organizations (e.g., Asana, Salesforce, ServiceTitan, Zoho, Zendesk, Google Apps, etc.) including 3rd Party API integrations, user settings, rulebooks, etc.
  • You have strong interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills to build relationships with, influence, and mentor staff, management, and customers.
  • You have a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a startup environment continually striving to improve business operations, processes and procedures.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or math.
  • You’re passionate about changing the world via home comfort and clean, energy-efficient technologies.
  • You’re a builder, a go-getter, a genuine self-starter; you get stuff done and promptly.
  • You’re a fast learner who holds yourself to high expectations (and meets them).
  • You adhere to realistic timelines and are an expert at managing competing priorities.
  • You appreciate the importance of giving and receiving thoughtful feedback.
  • You can deal with and manage significant levels of ambiguity, appropriate to our startup realities.
  • You have a commitment to building a diverse, equitable workplace and seek to make our company more inclusive.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment and is passionate about impacting sustainable change in the future of energy.
  • Experience automating workflows through Zapier or RPA platforms such as UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere, etc.
  • Experience working with AWS, GCP, or Azure to help establish developer environments.
  • Experience working with APIs, webhooks, etc.
  • Experience developing applications and tools in Python, Java, JS, and/or MySQL.

Compensation:

  • Pay commensurate with experience
  • $60 - 100k
