AECOM is seeking a Project Accounting Manager located in Ontario to join our team. Opportunities for hybrid work are available.  This is opening is for an existing position.Job Summary: Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will partner with Project and Operations teams to help drive financial performance and compliance across your project portfolio.  In this role, you will gain in-depth knowledge of the business line's operating environment and projects.Major Responsibilities: <ul><li>Monitor, report, and analyze financial performance for operational and project-related activities, offering support to project teams.</li><li>Work with Project Managers to ensure efficient control of projects, including the recording, controlling, forecasting and reporting of all financial matters.</li><li>Ensure revenue recognition and project documentation are in accordance with SOX requirements.</li><li>Understand and communicate the impact of project changes on P&amp;L.</li><li>Lead or participate in project reviews for projects within the portfolio.</li><li>Identify financial risks and opportunities, establish a plan to resolve issues and proactively follow up to ensure the appropriate actions are taken.</li><li>Improve working capital and cash performance by closely monitoring Unbilled and Billed AR.</li><li>Assist in the preparation and monitoring of EAC’s (Estimates At Completion) and ensure EACs are completed for projects in accordance with SOX controls. </li><li>Assist Finance Manager with month end close activities.</li><li>Gain an understanding of key contractual agreements with clients.</li></ul>
