Job Description

  • At Volta we’re on a mission to accelerate the adoption of the electric vehicle. Volta's award-winning charging stations benefit brands, end-users, and real-estate locations by providing valuable advertising space to businesses and convenient charging to drivers. Strategically located in places our end-users already visit, Volta's chargers are currently the most used electric vehicle charging stations in the United States.

    The Opportunity at Volta Charging

    The primary obligation of the Senior Information Security Analyst is to reduce the probability of a material impact to Volta’s organization due to a cyber event. You will provide your ideas and experience to enhance our Information Security program. The Information Security Analyst will report to the Director of Information Security.

    In your first 90 days: 

    • Familiarity with the Volta information security policies, standards and guidelines.

    • Comfortable using all of our information security solutions.

    • Provide feedback and ideas on enhancing our current information security program. 

    • Perform activity monitoring of events  and awareness training.

    • Assist in Incident investigations, containments and mitigations.

    • Provide your professional experience to contribute to the team’s overall knowledge.

    • Develop relationships with the information security team, IT and business partners.

    After twelve months, you will have completed:

    • Expanded your contribution and will become accountable for specific areas of the Information Security program. 

    • Knowledgeable in using all of the information security tools. 

    • Established working relationships with our IT and business partners.

    • Own and maintain projects that will  enhance our information security program.

    • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Information Security roadmap. 

    • Engaged participant in our Cybersecurity Incident Response Team (CIRT). 

    • Become an ambassador to the business partners for the InformationSecurity Team.

    What you bring to Volta Charging:

    • At least 1 year experience using and overseeing some of the following software solutions: Crowdstrike, Knowbe4, Palo Alto Prisma, Palo Alto Firewalls, Okta. 

    • A desire to be part of an exciting and growing information security team.

    • A wealth of information security experience to help us achieve our mission.

    • A view of how people and technology are both needed to create a successful information security program.

    • Knowledge on how information security tools are selected, implemented and monitored.

    • An aspiration to be recognized for your contributions to the success of a growing information security team.

    • Experience in all or some of the following tools: EDR, SIEM, IAM, PAM, CASB, SASE, Backup/Recovery, eDiscovery, VPN, Firewall, IRT, vulnerability scanning.
