Senior Bicycle Mechanic (m/f/d)

The Role:

We are looking for a skilled Senior Mechanic to lead a team of mechanics who's day to day duties include the assembly, maintenance and repair e-bikes. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality of Zoomo e-bikes. An excellent senior mechanic must have good people skills, manual dexterity and great attention to detail. They must be able to work in team with various equipment and tools as well as follow and lead on all safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and Inspection of the new e-bike before adding to fleet.
• Lead a team of bike mechanics on their day to day duties
• Assess the competency of new and potential e-bike mechanics.
• Inspect e-bikes and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.
• Repairing and servicing of the e-bikes to the highest level of quality.
• Perform schedule maintenance onsite and offsite.
• Keep logs of work and report on issues
• Ensure that your all working areas remain clean & tidy.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with bicycles e.g. e-bikes, motorbikes, e-mopeds
• Aptitude in using various hand tools (screwdrivers, hammers etc.) and precision measurement tools (e.g. calipers)
• A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
• Flexibility is an absolute must, we are a startup and things change daily so we hope you will remain flexible outside of your responsibilities to work other days and slightly different hours if needed.
• Basic knowledge of English & German required.
• A Driving licence would be advantageous .
