WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an INSIDE CLEAN ENERGY ADVISOR your goal is to enroll residential subscribers in local clean energy programs. You’ll accomplish your goal by following up on inbound marketing leads and moving stuck prospects through the process. The ideal candidate for this position will be an excellent communicator, positive and enthusiastic, driven to succeed, and possesses a strong commitment to sustainable energy and business practices. 


WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

  • You will respond to and follow up with inbound solar leads to educate them and ultimately enroll customers to our clean energy projects.
  • Educate potential customers on how community solar works, its benefits, and what makes Neighborhood Sun different from other companies.
  • Promptly respond to inbound leads via email, text message, and/or phone and log all activities
  • Ensure accurate lead data entry and reporting


EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:

Required Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to “read” a customer by phone and guide the conversation
  • Ability to manage time well to meet deadlines, goals, and performance expectations
  • Motivated and driven to succeed in selling sustainable, clean energy solutions


BONUS POINTS FOR THESE:

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of previous sales experience in a B2C role
  • Proficient with Google Suite/Microsoft Office, especially Google Sheets/Excel
  • Experience with Salesforce or Hubspot CRM systems
  • Demonstrated cold calling sales experience, with assertive, positive and persistent style

Earnings Opportunity: $65,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
