Circuit Communications Intern

INTRO:

Circuit is looking for a motivated, energetic and forward-thinking person to join our team as a Communications Intern. The Communications Intern will assist the Marketing department in creating social media content, email marketing copy, and short-form written communications. The intern may also assist other departments in written proposals, press releases, and drafting surveys. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

A communications intern who is knowledgeable in writing and is passionate in sharing sustainable transportation with the world. Position is part-time.

This person will:

● Update and maintain Circuit's social media presence, including daily monitoring, posting, scheduling and reporting updates 

● Manage and analyze the impact of sustainability campaigns across social media platforms

● Work with the Marketing and Transit teams to write and edit proposals, press releases, emails, and more

● Spread awareness of the benefits the sustainable transportation vs using private vehicles for last-mile trips

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN

● Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in the related field for internship

● Ability to write for various audiences, from government proposals to email copywriting

● Excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills

● Excellent knowledge of social media platforms

● Great attention to detail

● Interest in environmental, clean tech, smart cities, and/or transportation

● Must be eligible for New York State’s Clean Energy Internship Program (requirements here)

This is a paid part-time position.
