We are looking for Software Engineering Interns to build the core technology that powers our fleet of connected vehicles. We're launching our service quickly across the world, so you’ll be crafting backend systems that can process boatloads of requests from our IoT devices and consumer-facing apps. You will also work to improve our suite of operational tools that enable our distributed workforce to charge, deploy, and maintain our electric vehicles. You will get to collaborate with a group of engineers, designers, and PMs from top schools and with experience building systems and apps at companies like Facebook, Twitter, Uber, and Square.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop robust systems that serve our user-facing apps along with internal tools
  • Learn programming languages and frameworks on the fly
  • Closely monitor the critical components of our stack while responding to system failures
  • Track data that will allow us to better understand how we can improve our products
  • Collaborate with our talented team of designers, product managers, and operators
  • Dogfood our product and document any bugs or feature requests

About You:

  • Working towards a degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • Expected graduation in 2022 or 2023.
  • Fluent in at least one web framework, such as Ruby on Rails
  • (Preferred) previous engineering internship under your belt
