As the Senior Expansion Manager, you will lead and execute the expansion strategy for Texas. You will be a local spokesperson for Lime, meeting with cities across the region, demonstrating our technology and approach of partnering with cities. You will lead new launches, define a localized strategy for each city, recruit and build out a foundation for a strong local operation team and manage the city to get it up and running. You will take a company-wide perspective, build marketing documents - presentations, marketing collateral - and perform analysis - building models, creating launch plans, or P&Ls. 
The role is ideally based in Austin, TX, however we are open to Dallas as well.  
Significant travel will be required for the role.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the “head of sales” and spokesperson for bringing Lime to new cities - You will tell new cities what Lime has to offer.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager and local team in designing and implementing the strategic expansion plan for e-scooters and e-bikes
  • Deeply understanding what each city wants and how Lime can bring this to them
  • Building marketing documents and beautiful communication to tell new cities about Lime
  • Occasionally helping out in currently operating markets particularly with large events.

  • Lead new launches - You will be the first person on the ground in new cities, and you’ll build the city from the bottom up.
  • Defining a localized strategy adapted to specificities of the city (areas of deployment, parking, pricing)
  • Recruiting and build out a foundation for a strong local operation team
  • Managing the logistics aspect to make a city live (supply, training onsite)
  • Being the initial operations POC for city regulators, local business and riders

About You:

  • You’ll be a customer-obsessed, exceptional communicator with excellent attention to detail, and that has a passion for working with stakeholders across the business. You will have experience in external or client facing roles, and you’ll know how to move quickly to deliver. You are able to think strategically, solve problems from first principles, and validate your assumptions with data. You enjoy thinking on your feet, using your initiative and executing rapidly.  
  • An innate leader with excellent communication skills. Capable of communicating with all levels of stakeholder, and flexing your communication style to get the most out of who you work with
  • A natural salesperson, who is able to think on their feet and tell the right story
  • Tenacious, and able to make decisions in an unstructured environment. We move fast at Lime and you’ll be comfortable with the same.
  • Resourceful and creative. You're able to build stuff and do a lot with little.
  • Relentlessly curious. You always want to dig deeper and understand why, particularly to understand what our customers need.
  • Highly analytical, with a keen eye for leveraging data and use technical programs / code to help our team make more insightful business decisions. Your friends would consider you data nerd
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain a high level of accuracy across all aspects of your work. 
  • Preferred experience: 3-6 years’ experience and have worked in one of the following environments before: consulting, finance, policy, STEM industries with heavy execution experience, a startup or fast-growth technology business with heavy client-facing experience
