AECOM is hiring for an Entry-Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in our North Charleston, SC office. This position is expected to start immediately. Under the responsible charge of a Professional Engineer, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Pump station evaluation and design.</li><li>Water distribution system hydraulic modeling, analysis, and design.</li><li>Sewer collection system evaluation and design</li><li>Assist with plans, specifications, and permitting</li><li>Perform civil engineering modeling, design, and drafting work for engineers and project managers</li><li>Assist with preparing/reviewing cost estimates, job budgets and schedules</li><li>Support preparation of final plans, reports, and calculations</li><li>Coordinate work with other engineers and multi-discipline professionals</li><li>Document project information, author reports and other necessary correspondence for the project files</li><li>Troubleshoots project related problems and provides engineering support</li><li>Assist with resolution of construction issues and conducting site observations  </li></ul>  Minimum Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution</li><li>Proficient with MS Office Suite – specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint</li><li>Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as AutoCAD)</li></ul><ul><li>Must be able to conduct field work, tolerate variable environmental conditions, walk on uneven surfaces, and lift and carry at least 50 pounds.</li><li>Must be able to travel on business periodically for periods of up to 2-3 days</li><li>Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive rental vehicles on behalf of the company</li><li>Must be able to work collaboratively in teams and independently when necessary</li><li>Must have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications: <ul><li>Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)</li><li>Minimum 6 months technical work experience in civil engineering or related field (e.g. summer internships, Co-Op).  </li></ul>Additional Information·         Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
