We are also operating Sweden’s largest truck dedicated public charging network and counting.</p><p>As a Software Engineer within the Control Tower team at Einride you will be a part of the team responsible for the system that allows Einride’s operators to monitor and assist our autonomous vehicles from a remote location. In this role, you will work in close collaboration with your Team Lead and Product Manager to drive the team's vision forward. You will act as a key bridge, collaborating closely with various other teams across the organization to build and refine our Autonomous Drive software.</p><h3>You will be</h3><ul><li>Developing core tools for human assistance for the autonomous driving system, improving safety and efficiency of our autonomous fleet operations.</li><li>Designing and implementing low-latency data streaming pipelines that connect our autonomous vehicles with remote operators over wireless 5G networks.</li><li>Contributing to system and safety design, ensuring our tech stack meets the highest standards.</li></ul><h3>We expect that you</h3><ul><li>Have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar field.</li><li>Have a strong foundation in software design, version control and automated software testing, good knowledge of software development lifecycle, data structures and algorithms.</li><li>Are an experienced user of Linux-based operating systems.</li><li>Have a good understanding of network protocols (IPv4, IPv6, UDP, TCP, TLS, HTTP).</li><li>Are a naturally curious, self-directed person who thrives when solving complex engineering problems.</li><li>Communicate fluently in English.</li></ul><p>Nice to have experience of one or more of</p><ul><li>Rust and/or Golang programming languages.</li><li>Cloud infrastructure (Google Cloud Platform or other cloud provider)</li><li>gRPC or similar RPC frameworks</li><li>Development of safety critical and real-time systems</li></ul><p>This is a full-time position based in Gothenburg.
