This position is – Remote Position, serving Western US States, including but not limited to (Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico).

Specific Roles and Responsibilities

The following is a general outline of key responsibilities for this position:

1. Audit preplanning: auditor shall review HVAC plans prior to audit determine best plan of action and to qualify areas of focus.
2. Travel to site to perform audit of HVAC units and associated ductwork/terminal unit.
3. Determine leakage percentage by visual inspection, trace gas procedure, duct blaster pressure testing or other procedures under development or to be developed.
4. Auditor is expected to handle logistics associated with travel to and from site including coordination with point of contact.  This will be done working closely with Business Development.
5. Create initial Fastfield Audit report and formal Audit report.
6. Coordinate and help with the gathering of trend data support measurement and verification, this work could include but not limited to requesting building control system trend data, setting dataloggers and retrieving data loggers.
7. During times of slow or no audit activity the position will require support as directed for the commercial team. This work could include but not limited to estimating help applications engineering support.  Audit process improvement will take priority over this type of support.
8. Travel will vary, some weeks travel could be 100%.
9. Other projects as assigned.
   

Skills and Experience You’ll Need to Do It

1. Two years of Auditing experience with HVAC systems or controls preferred. Will consider Auditing experience with other building or industrial systems. Or previous Experience with Aeroseal Systems, or Aeroseal projects.
2. Two- or Four-Year technical degree preferred but will consider good experience in lieu of education.
3. Good technical writing skills (Proposal in Word)
4. Knowledge of HVAC systems and Excell
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
