We are adding additional positions and are looking for world class talent. This is someone who can help plan, coordinate, and execute logistics efforts in a dynamic work environment with unique challenges. This person has extensive experience in all areas of logistics including supply chain management, inventory control, maintenance management, and global shipping management (air, land and sea).  This person excels at quickly becoming knowledgeable of evolving current and future operations and calculating the immediate logistics requirements and forecasting future challenges.  International travel is expected and will likely require approximately 25% of the employee’s time to be out of the country with peak demand for international travel likely occurring from May through September.
The Current Operations Team is focused on developing, establishing, and operating systems that remove carbon at an unprecedented scale – you will be a critical component to the Team’s success.

You Will:

  • Work within the Carbon Removal Current Operations Team, developing logistics solutions to complex and emergent issues.
  • Forecast logistics requirements and challenges in order eliminate breaks in operational momentum due to logistics shortfalls.
  • Periodically work at multiple international locations as part of a rotation and support those international operations from the U.S. when not traveling.
  • Have knowledge of logistics and/or transportation management systems.
  • Have the ability to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Plan and execute logistics operations to include:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Requirements determination (routine, pre-planned, long-range).
  • In transit visibility of all equipment, supply & purchases
  • Procurement: Handle and supervise sourcing efforts, ensuring adequate supply without waste, as well as cost competitive options at scale. This will include raw bulk material, fabrication materials, and specialized items for system development, all at scales ranging from R&D to full production level
  • Distribution Operations
  • Storage
  • Fuels (requirements determination, procurement, storage)
  • Maintenance Management (all vehicles and heavy equipment)
  • Fleet management
  • Inspections
  • Servicing
  • Testing and calibration
  • Shipping Coordination (Freight & Equipment)
  • CONUS to international operating sites
  • Local transportation coordination at operating sites
  • Material handling equipment requirements

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to seamlessly transition between independent and collaborative work
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly flexible and excited to work in an extremely dynamic operating environment
