Job Description

As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information, the Senior IT Manager role will be the main point of contact for all things IT and be responsible for managing Zoomo’s IT infrastructure as well as be the standard for outstanding business practise to ensure Zoomo remains agile whilst remaining protected and secure.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to;

  • Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
  • Conducting regular system audits
  • Providing direction for IT team members
  • Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update our current SaaS stack and systems
  • Develop, maintain and grow relationships with our software vendors
  • Collaborate with all departments of the organisation to resolve ongoing issues as well as day-to-day operations
  • Developing standardised operating procedures for our service desk
  • Ensuring support tickets are managed within SLAs
  • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior management and staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree preferably in IT, or adequately tech savvy with competent research and critical thinking abilities
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Hands on experience with implementing general IT policies, IT service desk best practises and cybersecurity will be highly regarded
  • Process driven mindset with a strategic and holistic mindset
  • Aptitude to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, manage user expectations and identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Ability to project manage IT infrastructure development projects adhering to timeframes
  • Ability to work across time zones
