As the Operations &amp; Facility Program Manager, you will own program and project management activities across Terawatt's operation sites — from pre-commercial acceptance through sustained, mature operation — including site acceptance, customer success, and equipment and facilities operations and maintenance.</p><p>This role sits at the intersection of operational excellence and facilities stewardship. You will bring strong critical thinking, quantitative fluency, and cross-functional communication skills to manage complex, multi-site programs — balancing project schedules, budgets, and stakeholder needs while driving continuous improvement across Terawatt's charging network.</p><p>Reporting directly to the SVP of Operations, this role works in close collaboration with site and field operations teams.</p></div></ul><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3><ul><div><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Operations:</span></p><li><p>Define and implement unified processes that enable project owners to hit milestones, manage budgets, and quickly mitigate risks — supporting the successful launch of Terawatt's charging sites</p></li><li><p>Establish and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for all Terawatt charging sites from pre-commercial through sustained operation</p></li><li><p>Conduct risk assessments across strategic, technical, financial, and operational dimensions — formulating corrective actions and escalating potential issues to leadership when appropriate</p></li><li><p>Support vendor requests for proposal (RFP) development, ensuring proposals are structured for clear comparison and actionable decision-making</p></li><li><p>Develop and drive continuous improvement strategies across all operational activities to achieve cost efficiency and a high standard of service from internal teams and external vendors</p></li><li><p>Forecast demand on internal and third-party resources, identifying strategies to balance workload and ensure timely delivery of key milestones</p></li><li><p>Maintain clear, consistent communications across Management, Product, Sales, Finance, Technology, and Development teams</p></li><p><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Factilities:</span></p><li><p>Partner with project managers and contractors on the planning and execution of site-related projects, including facility expansions, renovations, and safety enhancements</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental guidelines, including emergency preparedness protocols</p></li><li><p>Oversee security measures across Terawatt's sites, including coordination with security vendors</p></li><li><p>Develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards covering facility maintenance, landscaping, security, parking, and waste management</p></li></div></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3><ul><div><li><p>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field</p></li><li><p>3–5 years of experience in project or facilities management in one or more of the following industries: renewable energy, EV charging infrastructure, clean energy, power grids, or fleet and freight logistics</p></li><li><p>Experience across the full project development lifecycle, including site acquisition, design, permitting, utility provisioning, procurement, contracting, and commissioning</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated project management skills with strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of facility maintenance programs and procedures, including safety, security, janitorial services, and landscaping</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with building codes, fire codes, and relevant health, safety, and compliance standards</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently, make timely decisions, and coordinate across teams to drive optimal outcomes</p></li><li><p>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization</p></li><li><p>Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously</p></li></div></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><div><li><p>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent (CAPM, PRINCE2)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with EVSE hardware, charging network operations, or utility interconnection processes</p></li><li><p>Experience managing multi-site facility portfolios across multiple states or regions</p></li><li><p>Experience with vendor contract negotiation and third-party SLA management</p></li></div></ul><br><div>Compensation for this role is determined by several factors, including the cost of labor in specific geographic markets, and these ranges are intended to provide a helpful reference.
