We are looking for an Associate Member of Technical Staff to join our team to drive solid electrolyte preparation activities and support development of processing techniques to increase product performance and reliability.
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers to develop processing methods for groundbreaking battery materials.Understand the critical product requirements at different process stages and derive vital process variables that drive improvement to product quality.Organize and communicate findings to the larger team.Data analytical skills for data analysis and process control.
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. or higher degree in ceramic engineering, materials science, chemical engineering, or a related field, and 1- 3 years’ experience in ceramic processing.Direct experience with synthesis and characterization of battery materials and knowledge of electrochemical testing.Demonstrated hands-on experience developing, characterizing, and trouble-shooting a process using process-related equipment.
Preferred:
M.S. or higher degree in materials science, ceramic engineering, or chemical engineering preferably with experience in ceramic processing.Knowledge of high-temperature ceramic processing, establishing temperature profiles and managing a controlled process environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a clean room, glovebox, dry room, or fume hood that requires the use of fine motor skills for extended periods of time, standing, reaching and twisting motions with hands and lifting to 15 lbs.
