THE ROLE

The Global Operations team is responsible for ensuring our local markets are set up for success - making sure we have scalable processes and systems in place to deliver for our customers, as we experience a 10x growth in fleet size!

In this new role, you’ll work with internal resources, liaise with relevant stakeholders to drive process improvement programmes and implement these processes globally. You will need to investigate operational and organisational deficiencies within the current processes, map new processes and document these flows . This person will collaborate on a cross functional level and drive continuous improvement through the central and regional teams.

You will be working closely with, and responsible for supporting our growing operations teams around the world to ensure that Zoomo is successful in developing and building a world class operations function.

To be successful in this role, the individual will need to be comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic environment, be hands-on and have excellent communication.

Candidates with experience working within high-growth, operational business will be suitable for this role. Specific bike and mechanic knowledge is not required (just an optional bonus!)

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the relevant subject matter experts and stakeholders to build and document end to end operational processes
  • Project manage the implementation of these processes across central/regional teams
  • Adapting and updating operational process and training materials on an ongoing basis, including to support the rollout of new or revised processes and systems
  • Curate Knowledge bases of operational processes and internal systems
  • Lead operational processes and systems training for internal operations teams
  • Support in business process management projects/ initiatives.

Requirements

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree, or 1 - 2 years experience in operations, operations excellence or process improvement
  • Process building. A knack for designing & implementing complex processes using digital tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, excited by data and comfortable using insights to make recommendations
  • Problem solving. Ability to understand a situation, identify and root cause problems, generate and weigh solutions, and identify potential risks.
  • Communication skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate succinctly and adjust communication style based on audience.
  • Cross functional collaboration. Experience leading through influence instead of authority; ability to communicate and empathize with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Track record of building things from the beginning and getting things done
  • Owners mindset and an ability to take initiative in a constantly-changing work environment
