Inventory Coordinator

About the Role:

As an Inventory Coordinator at AppHarvest, you will be responsible for ensuring inventory is properly accounted for throughout one of our state-of-the-art greenhouses and/or distribution center. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Access and improve flow of materials to ensure accurate inventory
• Maintain high standards and help promote a culture of strong attention to detail
• Maintain inventory records both systematically and paper forms in accordance with standards
• Troubleshoot complex inventory issues and projects
• Identify, analyze, and address any gaps or process improvement in inventory processes
• Perform daily, monthly, and yearly inventory counts in accordance with defined practices
• Relentless pursuit of a best-in-class warehouse and logistics environment
• Use forklift and related equipment as necessary

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, and/or related role  
• Supply chain and/or related certification a plus 
• Strong attention to detail
• Collaborative and innovative spirit   
• Produce timely, high quality work and achieve results with minimal oversight  
• Great communications skills, especially with internal customers and vendors  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Business Central (Dynamics) or similar ERP preferred
