This role is instrumental in maintaining ISO compliance, supporting third-party certifications, and advancing plant objectives related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost management. Principal Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring all inspections, testing, First Shot Approvals, product releases, and non-conformance activities are completed in accordance with company, customer, and certification requirements.</li><li>Oversee Quality Laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and calibration, inventory management, budget administration, and the accurate reporting of quality data in our systems.</li><li>Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, ISO 9001/14001 requirements, and third-party certifications by leading audits, management reviews, corrective and preventive actions, and certification activities</li><li>Approve Certificates of Compliance, verify raw material and component conformance, and maintain quality documentation that supporting production and customer requirements.</li><li>Partner with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to monitor quality performance, resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities, and support plant goals related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with certifying agencies and external partners while coordinating audits and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.</li><li>Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Minimum 3 years of quality leadership experience in a manufacturing environment, plastics industry is highly preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of ISO 9001/14001 standards, quality management systems, data analysis, reporting, auditing, corrective actions, and third-party certifications.</li><li>Proven leadership, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.</li><li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP ERP system experience is an asset</li></ul>IPEX is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities throughout the recruitment process and, upon request, will work with qualified job applicants to provide suitable accommodation in a manner that takes into account the applicant’s accessibility needs due to disability.
