The Senior Project Manager works under the supervision of the Project Management Office. This position requires the Project Manager to work collaboratively across multiple departments and regional office locations. The Senior Project Manager must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and be highly detail‐oriented.  The PM must possess strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

They will have the ability to lead meetings and gain agreement within the project team, assign tasks to team members, and make the input and needs from all appropriate stakeholders are heard, capturing and following up on action items, managing risks, and driving meetings to a clear outcome.

This individual must have a strong interest and affinity for technology and a willingness to learn new technology as needed. This position is located in San Francisco, CA, Washington D.C, or Remote within the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Project Management - 60%

  • Perform Project Management duties for a portfolio of technical projects that support our Legal Program Must have experience with legal technology platforms such as matter intake, time entry, or docketing. Intapp experience preferred. 
  • Experience implementing a Document Management System is highly desirable.
  • Develop detailed project plans for projects including Scope, Stakeholder and communication plans, risk management plans, and timelines.
  • Work with managers to assign resources based on project priority and team member bandwidth.
  • Work with technical leads to gather and prioritize project requirements and features.
  • Perform vendor management functions including managing external vendor deliverables and supporting the contract review process.
  • Coordinate project planning across various teams and workgroups.
  • Schedule and facilitate project meetings, and provide status updates, minutes, and debriefings as needed.
  • Track project deliverables and work with project team members to prioritize and schedule tasks and assist in removing roadblocks to completion of deliverables.
  • Escalate project issues and risks as needed to ensure the project remains on track and the highest priority items are being worked on.

Change Management - 25%

  • Develop Change Management and Communications Plans that will guide stakeholders through Project implementation.
  • Coordinate Training and ensure the appropriate level of training is provided to staff.
  • Assist the PMO with growing and developing consistent project delivery through the building of templates and policies.

Learning and Professional Development - 10%

  • Attend seminars, webinars, and training for professional development.
  • Attend internal DEI learning opportunities to increase awareness of creating a diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment.

Other Duties – 5%

  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • College degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ plus years’ experience in a related position.
  • Certification or training in project management. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Knowledge of and experience with law firm management software desirable
  • Experience with project management in a non-profit desirable
  • Experience with Foundation, Intapp, Intapp walls, and Intapp Time desirable
  • Experience with implementation of data warehouse and document management systems desirable
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Focus on attention to detail, including the management of complex information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Must be an active listener.
  • Ability to maintain confidence and confidential information.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and standard business technology a must.
  • Flexibility to work on a team and also independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to handle a diverse workload and multi-task as needed.
  • Demonstrates an awareness and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse cultures, backgrounds and orientations.
  • Contributes to the creation of a diverse, equitable and inclusive work culture that encourages and celebrates differences. 
  • Supervisory responsibilities: None.

Salary is based on experience and location.

Salary range for San Francisco, CA:  $151,000-$167,900
Salary range for Washington, D.C: $143,600-$159,600

Salary range for remote (within the US): $128,500-$167,900
*A more specific range based on location will be given to candidates who move forward in the hiring process.
